Alston Moor Golf Club is undoubtedly the highest golf course in England and 3rd highest in the United Kingdom. At 1476' asl and situated 15 miles south of the Roman Wall and located within an AONB, it offers spectacular views of the North Pennines.
The Hermitage, is situated 2 miles south of Alston on the B6277 and comprises 132 acres of parkland, high meadow and pasture land.
With a small membership and remote location it is ideal for the golfer who likes playing the game at their own pace.
Changes to Card & course layout with alternate Tee's 1-18 for competition only(White) Yardage & stroke index alterations will be in operation this year.
I have placed a tempoary Competition card on the right to give you an idea of what the stroke indexs will be.
Once new cards have been made I will display, also looking for local businesses to sponsor
AMGC & place an add on the new card.
